Work Preferences

My results from Self-Assessment Activities were that I want Economic Security, Recognition, and Variety. I think these are all true because I get bored with the same topics, I like being respected and well-known to my peers, and I need to know that no matter what, I will have a job and be able to support my family. Some careers that would suit my results are Lawyer, Counselor, Creative Writer, and Therapist.

Skills

Some skills that I have are English and French, also known as Communication skills. I agree with these results because I get good marks in both of these subjects and I enjoy talking, text messaging, writing, and following directions. Careers that would suit my results are Teacher, Writer, Translator, or Teaching Assistant.

Learning Skills

From my Self-Assessment Activities, I learned that I’m a Visual learner. The proof from my life that I can give to support these results are that I take notes and rewrite them to further understand the lesson. Careers that would suit my results are: Therapist, Counselor, Philosopher, or Psychiatrist.

Personality Type

My personality type is Orange. This means that I am competitive, adventurous, humorous, i like to take risks, and i like challenges. Careers that would suit my results are Anthropologist, Day Care Worker, and Probation Officer.

Multiple Intelligences

From the Self-Assessment Activities, I learned that I am People-Smart. I agree with these results because I enjoy stating my opinions to others, I’m typically good at giving advice, and I am comfortable in a crowd of people. Career choices that would suit my results are: Politician, Psychotherapist, Business Person, and Drama Coach.

Interests

My results from Self-Assessment Activities told me that I’m a People Person. I agree with this because I often like being around people, I like being in a team, persuading people, being a leader and interacting with others. Some jobs that would suit my results are:Child Care Worker, Psychologist, Motivational Speaker, and Consultant

Achievements (What Am I Proud Of?)

I’ve been dancing since I was 3 years old and competitively since I was 7 years old, I’ve won many trophies, ribbons and plaques over the years that I’m very proud of. Some that I have won this year are: 1st and 2nd place Highest Overall Senior Solo/Duet/Trio at Bedazzled Dance Champions and 1st Place Highest Overall Senior Duet/Trio at Breakthru Dance Challenge Inc. I’ve also been playing soccer since I was 5 years old and have won awards and trophies from various tournaments I’ve been in. I’ve been speaking french since I was in Senior Kindergarten. From grades 5 to 8,  I competed in the Toronto Catholic School Board French Speaking contest, I’ve competed in a level higher than I’m supposed to and have won 2nd and 3rd place ribbons at the French Immersion Level. I’ve also won various awards from school sports such as 2nd place in the Grade 8 girls 100m race. Careers that would suit my results are: Dancer, Soccer Player, Choerographer or a Stunt Person.
